This six-armed Mahakala is an early Shalu-style statue with a powerful and shocking image. On the high pedestal, the majestic Dharma appears as if suspended in the air, which is breathtaking. They have one face, six arms and three eyes. The three eyes are wide open, with angry frowns. They wear five Buddha crowns on their heads, and lively fluttering silk ribbons brush against their ears, which subtly enhances the overall sense of rhythm.

Wearing a long chain on the body symbolizes the purification of all greed. The six watches represent the perfection of the six perfections. The hands are very cleverly carved. The left hand is holding a bowl filled with treasures, and the right hand is in the seal of fearlessness. The rest of the arms either hold magical implements or have magical seals. The lower legs stand with bulging belly and bent knees. The body is short and fat. There are two elephants facing the sky below. The rosette and hairpins below are beautifully carved. The lotus petals are full and thick.
