This is a statue of the wrathful Yamantaka, one of the eight great Dharma practices of the Nyingma sect. The whole body is gilded with thick gold, close to 10 grams. There is a similar statue in the existing Potala Palace. The Wrathful Yamantaka is short and fat, wearing a dharma crown, with an angry face but no fear. The whole body is full of muscles. Waist apron. Wearing silk wrapped around the shoulders and arms, hanging down at the side, he lives in the backlight of the flame of wisdom. The image is extremely complex, with three eyes and two arms, the sword of wisdom is held high in the right hand, and the sutra is held in the left hand as a chest knot and wish seal. There is a platform under the lotus platform, and there are dragon-shaped lamp carvings around the platform. This is also an important symbol of the white snowdrifts at that time. In addition, the original mulberry wood cover at the bottom is compared with similar statues in the existing Potala Palace. This statue has exquisite craftsmanship and thick carcass.
