This exceptional Puba King Kong statue, featuring the horse-headed deity Hayagriva and the Three-sided Dharmapāla, dates back to the Republic of China period. It originates from Tashi Triling, a sacred and auspicious site of the Lotus Master, known for its peaceful energy. The Puba King Kong, associated with the Horse's Head Ming King Altar, is a masterwork of craftsmanship that exudes the powerful aura of a Dharma protector.

Upon closer inspection, the statue’s intricate details highlight its uniqueness and strength. At the top, a lifelike horse’s head crowns the piece, while at the bottom, the fierce figure of the Three-sided Dharmapāla is vividly depicted. The angry, flame-like beards and the three glaring eyes of the deity project a fearsome expression, as if confronting all the evils in the world. The open lips, revealing fangs, give the statue a menacing look, evoking awe and a sense of Dharmapāla’s unyielding determination to conquer evil and harness boundless power.

The statue stands on a double lotus platform, skillfully crafted to provide a spatial sense of balance, with the central position for the Puba King Kong’s hands clearly delineated. The lower section of the mochigarbha is remarkably detailed, giving the impression of a divine goddess descending to Earth. The serpentine tail twists elegantly between the three-pronged edges, complementing the dragon’s head above. The statue’s craftsmanship extends even to the original base rosette, which adds to its majesty.

This piece is truly a treasure of the Sacred Earth Altar—its beauty and craftsmanship are beyond words, leaving a lasting impression on all who behold it.
