About the Design

It occupies the chest the way a considered object always does — with full presence.
The centerpiece is a large Thokcha carved in the full winged form of a Garuda — the great bird of Tibetan and Himalayan tradition, long associated by those who know it with an unobstructed passage and a settled, unshakeable presence. The carved iron figure is set into a hand-engraved brass frame, its wings spread wide. A single South Red Agate stone sits at the Garuda's chest — deep orange-red, polished smooth. A second small agate bead is fitted at the cord junction above.

The pendant is broad and substantial. The brass frame carries fine engraved scrollwork along every edge.
