About the Design

This pendant was created with a clear intention.
At its center is Kubera — the Tibetan deity of wealth and abundance — hand-carved from a single piece of thokcha iron. Seated in lotus posture, the figure carries traditional iconographic details including the jeweled crown, layered ornaments, and the mongoose symbol associated with prosperity and generosity. The dark iron surface remains matte and textured, preserving the natural depth of hand-worked thokcha material.
Surrounding the figure is a gold-toned lotus-shaped frame that follows the silhouette precisely, creating a strong contrast between warm polished metal and dark iron. At the top of the frame sits a small natural coral bead, adding the only vivid color within the composition.
The pendant hangs freely from an integrated gold-toned bail, allowing movement when worn.
