This Tibetan antique Buddha statue depicts the solid cast of the Great Bliss Lotus Master, an embodiment revered across all four major Tibetan Buddhist sects as the epitome of enlightenment. The Great Bliss Lotus Master, representing the realization of the true essence of the Lotus-born Master, is rarely seen in solid bronze casting, typically being crafted in clay. This solid bronze depiction of the Great Bliss Lotus Master is undoubtedly of the highest quality, crafted from top-grade Lhasa bronze, intricately carved in full round relief. The Master sits in a dignified posture, adorned with flowing robes delicately patterned and crowned with a Pandita hat. Although much of the original gilding has worn away over time, traces remain on the Pandita hat, preserved with cinnabar.
Esteemed by many eminent Tibetan monks and scholars, the Great Bliss Lotus Master from Zochen Monastery holds profound reverence and significance, cherished as the pinnacle of life-long reverence, offering, and practice. This statue's lineage traces back to Zochen Monastery, representing the apex of Nyingma Zochen lineage portable Buddha statues. Whether as a personal companion or an object of veneration, it holds exceptional spiritual merit, providing lifelong protection and blessings akin to the presence of the Lotus Master himself.
