Regular price $14,286
  • In stock

This is an extremely rare early Tibetan Dharma table with intricate, hand-crafted designs.  The table is made of wood and mainly red, with three-dimensional carvings adorned with gold-painted details. On the front are two symmetrically designed Kirtimukha motifs, each holding a Cintamani in its mouth and crowning the sun and moon. They beautifully depict Kirtimukha, a figure originating from the legends of Shiva and Rudra. The upper edge is adorned with lotus petal patterns, while below are motifs representing the Eight Auspicious Symbols and long-life grass. The four corners of the base are carved with swirling patterns, and the base itself features unique and elaborate sculpted designs. Both sides of the table are adorned with a combination of Three Jewels motifs and intertwined floral patterns.
